I drew this maybe 7 years ago of a friends dog. Chihuahua's were all the rage in the early 2000's, many people toted these pint sized companions as accessories in their designer handbags!
This was and still is my first attempt at drawing an animal. I spent a lot of time building up the drawing, paying close attention to creating a life-like texture of the fur. Overall, I was pleased with my attempt and feel ready for the challenge of drawing animals.
